Marbled Sweet Gum Wood

Sweet gum woods sounds like something out of a fairy tale.

We burned wood for heat for maybe 20 years. Because come winter these woods in tai tong hong kong transform themselves into truly magical and breathtaking the leaves on the sweet gum. I saw it 5 4 to get a 3 4 board. This is pretty impressive for firewood. This wood species is not listed in the cites appendices and is reported by the iucn as being a species of least concern. There was some splating.

Red gum and black gum are a lot different than sweet gum. This is pretty impressive for firewood. I picked up quite a few pieces of this wood off of craigslist nearly 7 years ago. This one surprised me.

I kept some sweet gum for when we wanted to keep the fire going but didn t want any heat. Let me know what can be done with this wood it s beautiful.
