I ve never worked with that brand of lighting before but usually with christmas lights the are all interlinked as a loop circuit so the first one that is out is usually the cause of the problem.
Led christmas lights half strand out.
Second half of strand was out.
People actually suggested cutting out the offending half string and patching in another one.
I took out each light staring at the end and i found one with a wire broken off of the bulb.
Check the entire strand of lights for a missing damaged or abnormal looking bulb according to the christmas light company website.
I put a new bulb in and boom fixed.
The christmas light tester will indicate which bulbs are bad and need to be replaced.
Sixty bulb led christmas lights are built from two half strings of 30 bulbs each.
Second test the christmas light bulbs with an inexpensive tester available where holiday lights are sold and online usually changing a problem bulb or tightening it will fix the entire strand.
There was no way i was going to replace the entire string so i went online to see what kind of solution might present itself.
Thanks to everyone for the help.
Incandescent christmas tree lights aka mini lights are wired in series so if your lights go partially out you have one of three issues.
I hade the same problem on a set of ge led lights.
The first several search results made me gag.
If after all the testing the light string still doesn t illuminate it s time to get some new lights.
You may find that the bulb has a black or silver looking stain on the inside.
If this is your problem carefully replace the bulb after first unplugging the string of lights.
And if you re buying new lights consider upgrading to led christmas lights.
A light bulb has come out of its socket or is half out of its socket and it has brought down the circuit.
